About K.I.A.

On October 1st 2012 Kitakyushu International Association became a Public Interest Incorporated Foundation.

Greetings from the Board Chairman

Upon receiving authorisation from the Fukuoka Prefectural Governor to become a Public Interest Incorporated Association, we took a new step forward on October 1st 2012 and became Kitakyushu International Association (PIIA). Then in April 2013, in order to increase our convenience, we moved our base of operations to Com City in Yahatanishi Ward’s Kurosaki. Going forward, we hope to leverage the skills and knowledge we have cultivated so far to “take on different cultures and create a town and citizens who are open to the world” and work even harder as the area’s coordinator to provide high quality service.
We hope you will continue to grant us your cooperation and support from here on out.
