A massive earthquake with its epicenter off the eastern coast of Taiwan caused extensive damage, and rescue efforts are still underway in the area.
Kitakyushu International Association has set up a donation box to support relief efforts at the request of Kitakyushu City.

■Period: From Friday, April 5, 2024
Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
■Place: (1) Kitakyushu International Association (3-15-3 Kurosaki, Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu, Japan)
(2) Reception desk on the south side of the first floor of the Kitakyushu City Hall Building and each ward office
■Donations to be sent to: The relief money will be delivered to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
■Tax Treatment:
Donations are treated as donations as stipulated in Article 78, Paragraph 2, Item 3 of the Income Tax Act for individuals and Article 37, Paragraph 4 of the Corporation Tax Act for corporations.
Please note that this relief fund is not deductible as a tax-deductible donation for individual inhabitant tax purposes.
