Hello everyone!

I’m Sri Ram, and since this July, I have been the Coordinator for International Knowledge Promotion at the Kitakyushu International Association. I am from Singapore, so if you have any questions about Singapore or South-East Asia, do feel free to ask.
A little bit about myself, since the time I was a Junior High School student, I remember always being interested in Japanese history and culture. It was during that period that I decided to one day experience living and working in Japan.
In the year 2014, I started teaching at various Junior High Schools in Fukuoka Prefecture as an Assistant Language Teacher or ALT. Later on I was also tasked with training and supporting ALTs around Fukuoka.
This will be my fifth year living in Kitakyushu, and I am proud to call this place home. During the time here, I have actually come to distinguish the difference in taste between the local foods and those from other parts of Japan.
What I like about this city, the frankness of its people. I do however have much more to learn about this fascinating city, so if you are around the area, do drop in to say hi. Let’s Talk!

Coordinator for International Knowledge Promotion – Sri Ram Rajaram
