1. Change of KIA Operating Hours
Please take note that the Kitakyushu International Association will be changing its operating hours from the 1st of April 2019.
■Open: Monday to Saturday (9am to 5.30pm)
■Closed: Sundays, National Holidays, 29th December to 3rd January
 
2. The Foreigner Information Center will be more convenient from April 2019
1) Consultation Hours to be Extended
    【Until March】Tuesday to Friday 10:00~16:00

3. My Country ~Bahamas~
Come along and hear expats living in Kitakyushu talk about their home countries.  This time we will be introducing Bahamas.
There will also be a Q&A session at the end of the program.

1. Renovated Kokura Castle Reopened
Being extensively renovated for the first time in 30 years, Kokura Castle has been reopened with new facilities such as the Castle Theater, where you can learn the history of the castle and the town of Kokura, an Edo period experience zone, and an exhibition related to a great swordsman, Musashi Miyamoto, and his contender Kojiro Sasaki.
There is also a building called “Shiro Terrace” opened beside the castle, providing a resting place for visitors while strolling around the castle grounds.  Experience the height of spring at a brand new Kokura Castle!

1. HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series Kitakyushu
The fourth round of the HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series 2019 will be held in Kitakyushu for the third consecutive year.  Don’t miss this great opportunity to watch world’s top players’ powerful performances right before your eyes.
*Free tickets available for elementary, junior, and senior high school students living in Fukuoka prefecture

1. Spring Flower Festival at Green Park
Around 15,000 flowers of 19 different varieties representing the spring including tulips, daffodils, and nemophilas are in full bloom beautifully coloring the park.
