Introducing traditional aspects of Japanese culture to foreign residents in the Kitakyushu area. |

| In January this year, a wide variety of foreign citizens and visitors to Kitakyushu had a taste of some traditional Japanese culture, including a tea ceremony, origami, trying on yukata and some classical dancing. The event was a great opportunity to learn more about some of the fascinating aspects of traditional Japan, and to mix with some of the local volunteers. Participants were of a vast range of nationalities, including Chinese, Korean, Brazilian, Peruvian and Thai, making it a great chance for international exchange. A big thanks to all the volunteers and those that participated! Below are some pictures from the event. |
